Jean Marie Davis
Based on Her True StoryJean Marie Davis is a survivor of human trafficking who endured over two decades of abuse, beginning at the age of two. Her harrowing journey took her across 33 states, where she faced exploitation, addiction, and homelessness. At 29, pregnant and seeking a way out, she found refuge at a pregnancy resource center in New Hampshire. There, she encountered compassion and was introduced to Jesus Christ, marking the start of her transformation.
Today, Jean is the Executive Director of Branches Pregnancy Resource Center in Brattleboro, Vermont. In this role, she offers support to women facing crises, including those affected by trafficking and domestic violence. Her personal experience fuels her advocacy, as she works to provide hope and healing to others. Jean is also a published author and a graduate of Northpoint Bible College.
Through her speaking engagements and outreach, Jean shares her story to raise awareness about human trafficking and to inspire others with her message of redemption and resilience. Her life stands as a testament to the power of faith and the possibility of change, no matter the circumstances.

Phyllis Phelps
Founding Director of House of Hope NHPhyllis Phelps is founding director of House Of Hope NH, along with her husband Bill. She is the author of ” WEATHERING THE STORM”. Phyllis shares the love of Jesus Christ through her powerful personal story of faith, as a speaker through her street ministries, at Bible colleges, at Women’s retreats and many churches where she shares her testimony.
Her greatest desire is to bring hope to those suffering with life-controlling issues through the House Of Hope NH, a long-term, residential program that she founded Dec. 7, 2018.
Phyllis graduated from New Life Home for Women and Children in 1984 and Youth With A Mission in 1985. Since 2012, she has enjoyed many opportunities to teach and volunteer at New Life Home. In 2017, she completed an intense director’s training program under New Life’s leadership team,
Phyllis was the Women’s Jail Ministry Leader at Christian Life Fellowship Church for seven years. She is a 2021 recipient of the “Extraordinary Women of Keene” award and in 2022, WMUR-TV featured her as a Home-town Hero.
As an active member at Christian Life Fellowship Church, Phyllis also served for five years on the Gen Now, youth team. She and Bill have three adult children and nine grandchildren.
